New Star Asset Management required an interim manager for 10 months to manage the IT support team due to maternity leave.
IT Lines filled this position whose primary role was to manage first and second line support for 450 users in a fast moving financial services environment. In addition to the day to day team management, The Trackit! helpdesk system was implemented to streamline the support process and bring all the data into one unified database.
All hardware asset data that had previously been stored on spreadsheets were imported into Trackit! and the software was dynamically linked to Active directory which meant that the staff list was always up to date.
